Andrea Hassan, from an early age, dance became a profound source of freedom and self-expression for Andrea. Supported by her parents, she developed this lifelong passion for performance and movement. She pursued her formal dance studies at the University of California, San Diego, and expanded her training abroad at the University of Guadalajara (UDG) in Mexico. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she became a high school dance teacher serving the Chula Vista community for over 20 years. Today she continues to share this love for dance as part of the adjunct faculty here in the Southwestern community college dance department.
