Shannon Mueller holds a BFA in Dance Performance and a MA in Performance Psychology. She is currently a freelance choreographer and the Associate Artistic Director at Carlsbad Performing Arts Academy. Shannon’s choreography has been seen internationally and worldwide including University of Ulster in Northern Ireland, MixMatch Dance Festival in Santa Monica, Young Choreographer’s Festival in New York City, San Diego International Fringe Festival, NDEO Conference, Mobile Dance Film Festival in New York City, ADF’s Movies by Movers in North Carolina, Versatility Dance Festival in Colorado, and Pairodocks Films’ “Alison and Jeremy.” She was also selected as one of Regional Dance America’s Emerging Choreographers to attend their annual RDA Craft of Choreography Conference. Shannon has loved working with the SWCC dance community and had a wonderful time creating her piece “Departure”.
